Fix common Rio calendar issues: events not showing, overlapping events, and editing one instance or a whole series of a recurring event.
My Event Isn't Showing on the Calendar
Check the date and the view - a Friday event won't appear in today's day view. Switch to week or month view, or jump to the right date.
Two Events Are Overlapping
That's the conflict view doing its job. Reschedule one, shorten one, or ask Rio to suggest a fix.
Editing Recurring Events - One Instance or All of Them
- Manually - recurring events are edited one occurrence at a time. A single edit only touches that instance, and there's no series-wide option to worry about.
- By chat - describe what you need, and if there's any confusion about which occurrence or how far the change should go, Rio asks before doing anything. This is also the way to update the whole series at once: "Move my weekly team meeting to 12pm."
Rio Scheduled It on the Wrong Day
If "next Friday" meant a different Friday to you, just say so - "not that one, the 20th" - and Rio moves the event.
Still stuck?
Ask Rio directly: "What do I have on Thursday?" - it reads your calendar back to you.
